Fall cleanup & leaf removal

We rake and bag the leaves, clear the beds and cut back perennials, so your yard is ready for winter — and greens up faster in spring.

Questions

When should a fall cleanup be done?

Ideally after most leaves have fallen but before the first lasting snow — in Toronto, usually late October to mid-November. Large properties with many trees may need two visits.

Should I leave some leaves on my garden beds?

A light layer of shredded leaves in beds can protect roots and help pollinators. Thick, wet layers on the lawn, though, smother grass and cause dead patches. Tell us your preference and we'll handle it that way.

Can I combine the fall cleanup with snow removal?

Yes — many clients book their fall cleanup and reserve their snow removal spot at the same time.
